WITHDRAWAL
1. There are financial consequences to withdrawing from a training and the initiation of all withdrawal procedures is the responsibility of the participant.
2. To withdraw from a training a participant must officially notify CEWD of the withdrawal. This may be done through an email to the CEWD Project Manager assigned to the training. The effective date of the withdrawal is the first date of notification using these published procedures.
3. CEWD will notify the training facilitator when a participant withdraws from a training.
4. Withdrawal from a continuing education open enrollment training is in no way connected to any Vermont State College academic (credit bearing course or degree program). Any withdrawals related to academic offerings must be completed in accordance with the individual VSC institution’s policies. Please contact the Office of the Registrar at the intended institution for assistance.

REFUNDS
1. Participants must follow the procedures for withdrawal described above in order to be eligible for any training refund.
2. The administrative fee is non-refundable when a participant drops a training.
3. If CEWD cancels a training, participants registered for the training will receive a full refund of all fees.
4. Refunds will be determined according to the following schedule:
a. For a non-credit training
Notification by student                     REFUND
14 days or more prior to the first training date       100%
48 hours to 13 days prior to the first training date    50% 
Less than 48 hours        none
5. When extraordinary circumstances warrant a participant’s withdrawal from a training, a participant may request an exception to the Refund Policy. In general, requests for exceptions should be filed not later than 30 days following the withdrawal.
