Class at a glance

In MEC 1011: Design Communications, you can:

  • Gain a basic understanding of the principles and technology of mechanical drawing, GD&T interpretation, and basic blueprint reading techniques
  • Learn the basics of parametric solid modeling through the use of SolidWorks 2021Earn your Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA)
  • Earn two college credits

This is the first level of Vermont Tech's SolidWorks & CNC Machining Certification program, which takes place in Springfield, VT.

Our registration form will ask questions necessary for our internal use.

The Vermont Tech Office of Continuing Education & Workforce Development is part of the Vermont State Colleges System. Accordingly, we create training records for all participants in a central database system.
